Last week, Mobile Web Ghana had the incredible opportunity to engage over 200 vibrant students from the Department of Health Informatics at the University of Cape Coast. We were invited to speak on the topic “Beyond the Degree: Striving in the World of Work and Life.”
The session, held in the presence of the full department faculty, focused on empowering students to look beyond their academic achievements and embrace essential life skills, career adaptability, digital transformation, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Our speaker emphasized three critical pillars:
- Mindset Shift: Encouraging students to build confidence, curiosity, and a problem-solving attitude.
- Digital Skills Readiness: Highlighting the relevance of tech fluency, especially in AI, data, and content creation.
- Purpose-Driven Action: Urging students to align their talents with impact — locally and globally.
The interaction was engaging, with students asking deep and thoughtful questions about career transitions, building portfolios, and becoming innovative leaders in health tech and beyond.
