Mobile Web Ghana, in partnership with MTN Ghana, has successfully completed a transformative one-week training program for 50 youth in Gomoa Dominase, Central Region. The training focused on content creation and mobile phone repairs, equipping participants with practical skills for entrepreneurship and digital inclusion.
What made this training unique was its inclusivity—school dropouts, drivers, and unemployed youth all came together to learn, grow, and become change-makers in their community. From storytelling and video editing to smartphone repair and diagnostics, participants were immersed in hands-on sessions led by experienced trainers.
Each participant received a free smartphone and a phone repair toolkit, ensuring they didn’t just learn but were also equipped to start working immediately. By the end of the training, content creators were born—ready to monetize their creativity—and skilled phone technicians emerged, prepared to offer services within their community and beyond.

“Content is the new currency,” and this program proved just that. Youth who previously had no skills or income source are now building YouTube channels, managing social media content, and repairing phones to generate income.

To crown the success of this initiative, selected participants were invited to MTN Ghana’s Head Office in Accra to celebrate the final day of the 21 Days of Y’ello Care Initiative—a moment of pride and inspiration for the community.
We are incredibly grateful to MTN Ghana for their unwavering support and investment in youth development. Special thanks to the Chief and community of Gomoa Dominase for hosting us so warmly and making this program a reality.
This is just the beginning. At Mobile Web Ghana, we are committed to reaching more communities and unlocking the potential of Ghana’s youth through digital skills, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
